October 30 - November 4
Did you know that the the LA area is ground zero for some of American's best Modernist houses? You will see incredible houses. Is there a long bus ride across the country?
No! We fly direct. Breakfasts?
Yes. Lunches? Yes. Hotels? You betcha. Ground transportation with free wi-fi? Of course, and free wi-fi in the hotels. Wow, that’s incredible! We think so, too. I'd love to see Palm Springs.
You will, in a big way. Is this amazing trip going to cost a fortune? Not at all – check out the features and benefits below.

The Fine Print:
Once payment is made, there are no refunds for any reason except for trip cancellation. However, you can transfer your place to another person with at least three weeks written notice to NCModernist.
The itinerary and order of trip events are subject to change without notice or refund. And the itinerary will indeed change as we get closer to the date. Owners do change their minds at the last minute about access, in both directions yes and no, so you'll have to be flexible as we go along. However, the items marked above with * are confirmed reservations and are unlikely to change.
As we will be on the move, absolutely
no checked baggage allowed. Yes, you can survive five nights with one carry-on rollerboard/suitcase (max dimensions 9" x 15" x 22") and one personal bag/purse/laptop that will fit under the seat in front of you.
There is a small but possible risk of overnight stay if flights are delayed, in which case participants are responsible for any additional costs of meals, lodging, transportation, and incidental expenses. The chances of this happening are small, but it could happen.
Proceeds benefit NCModernist's ongoing documentation, preservation, and promotion projects. We are a North Carolina 501C3 nonprofit. Questions? Contact NCModernist Executive Director George Smart at 919.740.8407.
