DAVID SCOTT MAURER, AIA (1961-) Maurer was born in Lakewood OH. He graduated in 1979 from Princess Anne HS in Virginia Beach VA. He graduated in architecture in 1984 from Virginia Tech. He interned with Alpha Design Group/Ron Collier, Burnstudio/Norma Burns, Architectural Group/Jeff Davis, and Clearscapes, where he became an associate. He left in 1991 to get a Masters in Architecture at the University of Washington, graduating in 1992. He came to open Maurer Architecture in 1993. In 2005, he incorporated TightLines Designs to focus on affordable housing. The website is www.maurerarchitecture.com.

2018 - The Charles Long and Jody Schwartz House, 2315 Beechridge Road, Raleigh NC. Initial design by Maurer; completed by the builder. Sold in 2023 to Colin Shannon.
2020 - The David Shaw and Meredith Anderson House, 918 South Blount Street, Raleigh NC. Developed by Grayson Homes.
2023 - 207 Woodsborough Place, Raleigh NC. Designed by Tightline Design. Built by Thayer Homes. Sold in 2019 as part of a multi-property sale. Sold 2024.
